最近愛上 Sandra Cisneros 珊卓拉希斯內羅斯的詩。這本１９９４年出版的詩集 Loose Woman 豪放女，不知何故在書店裡展示。我偶然間拾起，就放不下手了。
希斯內羅斯可謂美國最有成就的墨西哥裔作家，１９９８年被選入 Norton Anthology of American Literature。像我這樣離開校園好久的人，不是機緣巧合，那裡會想去找來看？
希斯內羅斯最知名的小說 The House on Mango Street 芒果街上的小屋，被不少高中大學選為教材。
It was awarded the Before Columbus American Book Award in 1985, and has been taught in a variety of academic disciplines including Women's Studies, Ethnic Studies, Psychology, English, Creative Writing, Sociology, and even Sex Education.
